What we don't collect
We don't ask for your name, phone number, email address or any other personal details to use the site. There are no accounts, no login and no forms that collect your details. We don't sell or rent any information to brokers, builders, banks or anyone else.
Our calculators and search
Our stamp duty, property value, area converter and Section 50C calculators work inside your browser. The price, area and other figures you enter are not sent to us or saved on our servers.
When you move from one page to a calculator, for example from an area page to stamp duty calculator, your browser may keep the value for that visit so you don't have to type it again. It stays on your device and is cleared when you close the tab.
The search box loads a public list of states, districts and areas and searches it on your device. What you type in it is not sent to us.
What our hosting may record
Our hosting provider may keep basic technical logs when a page is loaded, such as your IP address, browser type, the page you opened and the time. These logs are used only to run the site, fix problems and protect it from misuse. We don't use them to find out who you are.
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics to see which pages people read, so we know what to improve. It uses cookies and records things like the pages you visit, your device and your approximate city. It never gets your name, phone number or the figures you type into our calculators. You can block these cookies in your browser settings, and the site will work the same.
Ads
The site does not show ads right now. If we add them in future, we will update this page before we do, and explain what is collected and why.
When you email us
If you write to us at hello@circlerate.online, we get your email address and whatever you put in your message. We use it only to read your message, check any correction you have sent and reply to you. We don't add you to a mailing list or share your email with anyone. If you want us to delete your messages, just ask and we will.
Please don't send sale deeds, ID proof, bank details or other personal documents. We never need them.
Links to other websites
Some pages may link to government or other websites. Once you leave CircleRate, their own privacy policies apply, and we are not responsible for how they handle your information.
Children
The site is meant for adults dealing with property. We don't knowingly collect any information from children.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
